From the end of February through the first few weeks of March, Snow Geese on their migratory path North to The Tundra find food and refuge at the Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area in Lancaster and Lebanon counties. At its peek over 100,000 geese can be in the fields and on the lake.Tundra Swans Canada Geese and a large variety of migrating ducks can also be found. The sight of a hundred thousand geese taking flight at one time is just breathtaking. Plan a visit in late February or early March.
